Question 2

Do I need to wear underwear with shapewear?

Accepted Answer

It's completely up to you! Some women prefer wearing underwear for added comfort, while others go without for a smoother, more seamless feel. Just keep in mind: layering with underwear may cause visible lines or feel bulky under clothes. Want the best of both worlds?

Opt for seamless shapewear, or try our shaping underwear or light support, full coverage, and a sleek silhouette without extra layers.

Question 3

How can I keep shapewear from rolling down or riding up?

Accepted Answer

If your shapewear is slipping, rolling, or bunching, it might be a sign you're not wearing the right size. We know how frustrating it can be, so we've created this guide on how to prevent it! And here's a tip: opt for secure-fit styles like our Shaping Shorts or Shaping Leggings.

Question 7

What are the best smoothing undergarments for dresses?

Accepted Answer

When getting dressed for an event or even just heading out for the day, the right base layer can make all the difference. The best smoothing undergarments for dresses are the ones that create a smooth look without showing through. A shaping panty, high-waisted shaping shorts, and shaping bodysuits are popular choices because they gently smooth the hips, tummy, and waist while staying discreet under fabric. High-waisted shaping shorts also help prevent thigh chafing, which makes them a great option for warmer days or long hours on your feet. Look for seamless shapewear styles with moderate to firm control that enhance your natural shape under both fitted and flowy dresses.

Question 8

Which smoothing garments are invisible under clothes?

Accepted Answer

If your goal is a smooth finish without visible lines, fabric and construction matter most. Smoothing garments that stay invisible under clothes are usually made with seamless edges, lightweight materials, and finishes that lay flat against the skin. Seamless shaping shorts, seamless shapewear, smoothing tanks and camis, and no-show shaping panties are designed to disappear under tops, skirts, and pants. Choosing a shade that is close to your skin tone can also help keep everything discreet, especially under lighter fabrics.

Question 9

How to find shaping wear that doesn’t pinch?

Accepted Answer

Comfort should always come first when choosing shapewear. If a piece feels too tight from the start, it probably is. Look for stretchable waistbands, soft structure, and compression that feels supportive but still comfortable for your day. You might consider low to medium compression if you want smoothing you can wear from day to night. It is also important to choose your true size based on your measurements, since sizing down can cause digging or rolling. Soft, breathable fabrics and adjustable details like straps or closures can make a big difference in how the piece fits and feels.
