Meet Leslie Marie– a fierce Shapermint Crew Brand Ambassador passionate about body positivity and self-love. She encourages her followers to love their skin & express themselves unapologetically.

You’re one of our Brand Ambassadors, part of the Shapermint Crew! What inspired you to join the Crew?

My inspiration comes from loving my body in all its forms and helping others to love theirs unapologetically. Shapermint stands for just that so I had to join in!

What do you enjoy most about being on the Crew?

I love the opportunities it brings for everyone to see themselves doing things the industry tells us we can’t.

How do you want to shape change with us?

I want to shape change by showing it’s okay to be imperfectly perfect.

How do you define body positivity?

I define body positivity as allowing your body to take in changes and adapt to those changes in the best ways possible while loving that journey and still expressing it their way. - Leslie

How does Shapermint help you celebrate your shape?

Shapermint helps to not hide my curves but smoothes them out and makes them pop in comfortable forms.

What does self-care mean to you? Do you have any particular rituals or routines that spark self-love?

Self-care means exactly the word! Lol! You have to take time for YOU. Love you and your flaws. I do have my self-love and self-care rituals such as burning my candles and listening to music while I shower and do my skincare routines. Allowing myself to not feel bad when doing good by myself and treating myself to something. 

We absolutely love the fact that you use social media as a liberating force to celebrate body positivity. Are there any women on social media who inspire you to be your best self?

All of my following and followers list on all my socials inspire me. They live everyday lives. Some are models, teachers, students, and much more but they post pictures of themselves and that’s inspiring. In today's time, we are trained to be sad and that just won’t do! 

What is your favorite Shapermint essential? How do you like to style it?

By far my favorite Shapermint Essential is the scoop neck bodysuit! I style it with just about everything - jeans, dresses, skirts you name it!

How can you empower women of the next generation as a Shapermint Crew?

I can empower the women of the next generation by showing all sides of body positivity and not just the days when things are glitter and glam. but the highs and the lows and allow in to know that’s okay! but don’t sit in that too long. 

Looking in front of the mirror, what would you want to tell yourself?

Oooh girl you are power, you are strong you are everything in between! Golden queen with big dreams. Let your light shine and get this green!
