Shapermint takes over NYC in honor of National Shapewear Day

On August 10th, we celebrated National Shapewear Day during our Celebrate Your Shape. Wear Confidence. campaign, encouraging our customers nationwide to further the body positivity movement and destigmatize the conversation surrounding shapewear.

To celebrate, we took to the streets of New York City, along with 25 models, all in shapewear to hand out free shapewear to event attendees.

Eboni K. Williams, TV Personality joined the fun as we toured throughout Manhattan’s most famous landmarks, stopping at some of the busiest and most popular locations, including Bryant Park and Madison Square Park.

With many misconceptions and stigmas surrounding body confidence and shapewear, Shapermint aims to further foster an inclusive and empowering community where positive and open conversations can be had allowing people to be supported, represented and heard in a way they might not have felt before.
